Astemo

Since the integration in January 2021, Astemo – whose name comes from the first letters of the phrase Advanced Sustainable Technologies for Mobility – has established itself as a strong global provider offering competitive mobility solutions in the CASE industry. In October 2023, its capital structure changed: Honda Motor Co., Ltd. and Hitachi, Ltd. became equal shareholders, and JIC Capital, Ltd. became a new shareholder, transforming Astemo from a consolidated subsidiary of Hitachi to an affiliated company.
Building on the achievements accumulated under the Hitachi brand, Astemo aims to further strengthen its position and become a leading company in the field of electrification and intelligent mobility in the era of software-defined vehicles (Software Defined Vehicle).
At the beginning of June 2025, Hitachi Astemo Aftermarket Germany GmbH changed its official name to Astemo Aftermarket Germany GmbH.
