KYB is the largest hydraulics manufacturer in Japan and one of the world's largest suppliers of original equipment (OE) shock absorbers to automotive assembly lines. KYB produces over 1 million shock absorbers weekly at its own factories, including its Gifu plant in Japan, the largest shock absorber production facility in the world.

KYB also operates three in-house shock absorber factories in Europe, serving the aftermarket and automotive manufacturers, as well as a state-of-the-art coil spring plant.
